Norman County Wide Beautification Contest projects: This contest is sponsored by Shock & Awe your organization’s opportunity to put in a wish list for funding for your community projects.

The final Contest review will take place in late August by Shock & Awe students voting!

First Place: $1500

Second Place: $750

Third Place: $500

Beautification Contest Ideas:

​

• Eligible Projects: repair or renovation of property, building construction, landscaping, streetscaping, demolition, and site preparation, pre-design

• Limitations: Grants can’t be used for purchase of real-estate or business operating expenses (such as inventory, wages and working capital)

• Timeline: please email or mail all applications and Before & After Photos to Gary Cares/ Shock & Awe by August 15th, 2024, and Shock & Awe.

• Students will vote on First ($1500), Second ($750), and Third ($500) Place by the end of August!

• Checks will be mailed out by Gary Cares in September 2024.
