• Are you a non-profit 501(c)3 Organization?  Yes.  The number is given upon request of donors.

• What if I want to do a special project? Will Gary Cares assist donors for projects such as a bench, a sign, put in a sidewalk, paintings, artwork etc...Can I specify my donation for that? Generally speaking the answer is yes.  Any project that makes our area a better place is a great thing and worth looking into!  If you are questioning a project, please contact us and we can help you head in the right direction.

• Can I donate to "any" of your projects through your Donate button?  Yes.

• What is I do not see a special "button" for the donation of my choice? There are "some" buttons that are specific to a particular project such as a fire hall, playground project etc... but  after you fill in your information, on the next page you may click the link that says "add special instructions to the seller" to notate a special donation/cause that is not listed with a specific button.

• Can I just "send a check?  Yes. Please have your check made out to Gary Cares, PO Box 66, Gary, MN. 56545 and a note that tells us the specific purpose of your donation.

• Do you take credit cards?  Yes.  Press the donate button at the top of this page and follow the instructions.  Contact us if you have any problems.

• Do you send tax receipts at the end of the year?  Tax receipts are given out for donations of over $500 but we are happy to send one to you for a lesser amount if you request it.

• Do you hold a Minnesota Gambling Permit?  Yes.  Permit #X-92573

• Do you network outside of the City of Gary?  Yes.  Our bylaws are set up to help our communities at large.

• Do you assist groups that do not have a non-profit status with community projects?  We can and we have.  Every project is unique and some may not work for us.  We do and have worked closely with our community club, senior center and others organizations with their projects.
