Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income. Available to all children ages 0-5 living in Norman County, MN.

Get Out & Play in the Gary Pines

Gary Cares is working with the City of Gary, the Gary Lions, and individuals interested in sustaining the forest to establish trails, a memorial tree section, a chainsaw art walk, and a natural play space in the Gary Pines.

The forest is a 160 acre property located on Highway 32 and 260th Ave. northwest of Gary. The land is owned by the city of Gary.

Shock & Awe Youth Philanthropy

  Who trust students with the future of our region? We do.

Gary Cares manages the grant funding for Shock & Awe youth philanthropy in Norman County. 

Students from Norman County East and Ada-Borup-West gather monthly during the school year to meet, discuss their vision for the county, process grant requests, and plan impactful community activities.

Murder Mystery Dinner Party

We love having a good time, especailly in the middle of the long, cold witner. Join us for a Murder Mystery Dinner Party in Gary, MN. Come enjoy great food, live entertainment, and the company of your community.
