The making of the project

With gratitude, we present this slide show is the final plan completed by Master of Architecture student Maxwell Dixon from the U of M in St. Paul. The City of Gary is thankful for his support, that of his professor Virajita Singh, Northwest Regional Sustainable Development Partnership's Linda Kingery, the community of Gary for attending three meetings to give their input and others too numerous to mention.

The Gary Pines chainsaw art project, by artist Scott Petry,  is funded, in part by a grant from the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council and the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008Please see the slide shows for their complete information and input on this project.
